Maintenance Technician – Rye River Brewing Company
Rye River Brewing Company, one of Ireland’s leading independent craft breweries, is expanding our Maintenance Team! We’re seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our enhanced automation and efficiency goals. As a part of our team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our high-quality standards and ensuring smooth production in a fast-paced, craft beer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on brewing and packaging equipment, such as pumps, valves, conveyors, and motors.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure swift repairs and minimize downtime.
- Perform routine repairs and component replacements as needed.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to ensure long-term equipment performance.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and other departments to address maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Partner with external contractors for specialised repairs or installations.
- Propose improvements to existing equipment and processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Foster a proactive maintenance culture within the brewery.
- Shift Schedule: Rotating shifts covering 7 am – 11 pm.
Key Skills
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment (brewing experience preferred).
- Solid understanding of mechanical components in production equipment.
- Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to support shared production goals.
