Summer is here and we’re stoked to be brewing with heaps of New Zealand hops. Nelson Sauvin and Motueka have this NZ IPA BURSTING with tropical, citrus and white wine notes. Slap on some sun cream, slip on the old jandals and crack open this JOOSEY SUP!
Range: Rye River Seasonal
Introducing our latest seasonal, A-TIPA-CAL. This isn’t your typical Triple IPA. Experimenting with our friends at Yakima Chief Hops we have ladened this TIPA with their YCH 301 Trial – flash frozen wet hops pelletized through their Cryo Hops® process! YCH 301 Simcoe® and Citra® with a dash of Cryo Pop® Original Blend make this one atypical IPA!
Story be told we have discussed brewing this beer for some time and once we stumbled upon the right Rye Whiskey barrels the time was nigh. Brewed in February and fermented in steel, this Rye Doppelbock was further matured and lagered in select Rye Whiskey barrels for 6 months. This double lager tells the tale of all its parts. The malty sweetness and bready toast of German Munich, Vienna and Rye Malt shine alongside the warming alcohol depths of the beer and its barrels bringing the character of cedar, apple, spice and tobacco. Enjoy with friends and let your story be told!
This one is for the Dog Days of Summer! We brewed what we love: Kölsch and Hops. Grab some cans, find some sun and crush a few cold ones. This mutt of a Kölsch Style is crisp and clean with a Tango and Callista Dry Hops bringing forward a spritz of citrus and sweet fruit. Prost!
This fruit punch sour is awash with Calamansi, Sudachi and Morello Cherry. A tropical storm of tart, fresh citrus and berry to barrel you over.
In this edition of our beloved Miami J we collaborated with our friends at BarthHaas X to pack their advanced hop products into this juicy IPA. Lupomax, Incognito and Spectrum have saturated this brew to accentuate all the things we love about the softer side of hops. Brace yourself!
Inspired by innovative malting technology at Crisp Malt’s great Ryburgh site, we teamed up and fired up the Revtech to create a revelatory brown malt expressive of modern coffee. Revelation Brown Ale is brewed with Crisp’s finest malts and a favourite Belgian yeast strain to invoke the nutty, fruity and roast characteristics we love about modern coffee and a great brown ale.
Embers is our Añejo Barrel Aged Wheat Wine. We mashed one tonne of oak smoked wheat into this wheat wine. Basically a Grodzizkie dialled up to 11, but we didn’t stop there. Aging an additional 6 months in freshly emptied Añejo tequila barrels, bringing forth sweetness and notes of citrus, vanilla, raisin and earth. We are stoked to share Embers with you!
The canvas for Lupulos Borealis is a Hoppy Pils laden with Strara and Motueka hops saturating this brew like the lights of the northern sky. Tropical, dank and citrus.
